The Spirit committee is responsible for planning events related to KU school spirit. Events may include: spirit buses, watch parties (Big 12 or NCAA), Beat K-State Week, Beat MU Week, Homecoming involvement, the ticket camping groups, student tailgates, KU relays, KU’s biggest fan contest, plus other sports-related events. This Spirit committee is also responsible for maintaining the membership and organization of the Hawks Nest football cheering section.
