There are various important factors when it comes to photography; the correct angle, the right lighting, the composition, the subjects, the location and mood—all to capture the perfect moment. Photography is some serious business, and there are so many people who are passionate about capturing photos. There are various types of ways/cameras to capture photos, from a film camera to a Canon camera to a Polaroid camera to the one in your pocket – an iPhone. If you are adventurous, any type of camera will do. If you are a room decorator and a picture-holic, a Fujifilm Instax Mini Camera is for you, as it can print your picture instantly after the picture is taken. If you are an avid Instagrammer, the camera on your smart phone will do just fine.
They say “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Taking photos and seizing the moment is a wonderful opportunity to be able to look back and remember a certain memory. A picture can tell so much, whether it is because of the people in it or the mood it brings or the action or location it captured.
I always look back at pictures I have taken on my phone or my Canon camera and it always brings me back to a specific, nostalgic feeling. Personally, for me, taking photos is an essential in life. Photography is one of my biggest passions. I try to take as much pictures as possible because I am a memory-holic, and absolutely love remembering what I did or where I went on a certain day. Photography can open so many doors, whether it is for fun or for professional reasons. It is all about the person behind the camera, capturing the perfect moment that is happening in front of the camera. So what are you waiting for? Pick up that camera and get going!
